The club has registered with Easyfundraising, it is an easy way for members to support and raise funds for their cause whilst shopping on line. Centenary Celebration Dinner

On Saturday the Club held its Centenary Celebration Dinner at High Post Golf Club, a fitting end to a great season, with good food, service and entertainment. President Steve presented trophies for Ladies Aggregate Singles Winner – Pam Lambshead, Club Night Winners Ladies – Barbara Evans, Mens – Derek Nation and Most Improved Player – Caz Sadler.

Young players, trying the game of bowls, with great skill and enthusiasm. Hopefully the future of the club.

Thursday Tea & Biscuits Internal League

After 15 weeks of friendly but competitive bowling. This week saw this season’s final games.

The Winners were Team FIG ROLLS Keith Evans (Team Leader), Diane Crawshaw, Lynne and Andy Derry, John Kirkbride, Janet Gillingham & Roy Walker.

The Runners Up were Team ASSAM Ali Noyes (Team Leader), Len Blake, Petra Thomas, David Rowe, Pete Hutton & Dawn Ford.

Well Done to all the players and a Thank you to William Crook who sponsored the leagiue and presented the prizes and a thank you to Ali Noyes and helpers.

Centenary 1920s Gala

Our Centenary celebrations continued with a 1920s Fun Gala.Some great oitfits, fun bowls, followed by yummy food.

Amesbury Ladies at National Finals in Royal Leamington Spa

Club Members Jenny, Dawn, Ruth & Ali, qualified in the County Fours to represent Wiltshire at the National Finals. They played a team from Binstall BC Leicestershire. With their opponents coming out winners 20-9. A first appearance for all of them, so a great achievement and most importantly enjoying the experience.

Centenary Celebration Match v Bowls Wiltshire Men

On Tuesday the club held its 3rd centenary celebration game v Bowls Wiltshire(Men). Club President Steve Mitchell welcomed BW(Men) President Danny Holland and players from clubs across the county. A friendly competitive game, resulting in a win for the visitors 115 -79. The game was followed by an excellent meal which was prepared and served by the members.

Bowls Wiltshire Ladies Gala

Amesbury Ladies travelled to Devizes BC for a fun day of bowling. The day is held to raise funds for BWL. With there being no particular theme this season, Amesbury decided to keep with the clubs centenary and dressed in 1920s fashion.

The overall winner Jenny Homer, Runner Up Dawn Ford, with the booby prize going to Ruth Canham.
