Club Members Jenny, Dawn, Ruth & Ali, qualified in the County Fours to represent Wiltshire at the National Finals. They played a team from Binstall BC Leicestershire. With their opponents coming out winners 20-9. A first appearance for all of them, so a great achievement and most importantly enjoying the experience.
Club Members Keith & Steve qualified for the Last 16 of the National Over 60s Pairs. They played a Pair from Cranleigh BC in Surrey. A hard fought match which was all level at 18 ends, unfortunately losing the extra end.
Two teams qualified for the BW Finals held at Supermarine BC.
Both teams finished as Runners Up. Well Done A Great Achievement.
On Tuesday the club held its 3rd centenary celebration game v Bowls Wiltshire(Men). Club President Steve Mitchell welcomed BW(Men) President Danny Holland and players from clubs across the county. A friendly competitive game, resulting in a win for the visitors 115 -79. The game was followed by an excellent meal which was prepared and served by the members.
Amesbury Ladies travelled to Devizes BC for a fun day of bowling. The day is held to raise funds for BWL. With there being no particular theme this season, Amesbury decided to keep with the clubs centenary and dressed in 1920s fashion.
The overall winner Jenny Homer, Runner Up Dawn Ford, with the booby prize going to Ruth Canham.

On Sunday 13th July, the club will host the above competition, with teams coming from Calne, Chippenham Town, Holt, Royal Wootton Basset, Salisbury, Swindon and Westlecot BCs.
Play starts at 10am. Come along and watch some excellent bowling. Food and Drink available to purchase all day.

The Ladies Triples Competition took place on Saturday. 7 teams competed in a round robin format. On a very hot afternoon, the day concluded with tea, cake and strawberries.

The Mens Triples Competition took place today. Six teams played down to the finalists, the final will be played on Finals Weekend.
